Get your act together

⭕ If you’re a teenager and your room is a mess, your grades in school are terrible, you talk rudely to your parents and teachers, you never do any work around the house, and you play a lot of video games. Then, you need to get your act together!

⭕ When things go wrong at work, your boss may get angry and may shout, “Stop making mistakes. Get your act together.” Or, your boss is calmer, he may say, “Let us get our act together.” Either way, the meaning is the same.

⭕ Getting your act together, simply means to straighten up and put things in order, whether it be your attitude, thinking or habits. Such as, “Quit messing up, get your act together”.
