⭕ When things go wrong at work, your boss may get angry and may shout, “Stop making mistakes. Get your act together.” Or, your boss is calmer, he may say, “Let us get our act together.” Either way, the meaning is the same.
⭕ Getting your act together, simply means to straighten up and put things in order, whether it be your attitude, thinking or habits. Such as, “Quit messing up, get your act together”.
