The Power Of Words

Yesterday I took a challenge! I started to share some happy thoughts with my friends on Facebook. The idea is simple, share the following phrase in your friends’ wall on Facebook:

“You are a highly intelligent being with a purpose. I wish there were more people in the world like you.” #PowerOfWords‬ ‪#Challenge‬.

Today I am sharing with you the results I got from this challenge and human warmth experiment. I am not going to share all of the details… Just enough to give you context, otherwise this would be a lengthy endeavor! Maybe it will inspire and motivate you to do the same with your dear ones.

Hadil: Wow, this is so sweet of you Imad you got me speechless, thank you, promise to do my best to make you proud. Bless you. ❤
Imad: Thank you so much for all of the wonderful memories and for being so open with me. Thank you so much for trusting me and for being someone I know that I can trust as well. Thank you for working so hard at all that you do and for always looking to be better and bolder. Thank you for being such a kind and compassionate friend and thank you for just being you.
Hadil: You just made me cry I swear! I’m all covered in tingles right now, thank you for always being there whenever I needed your help, thank you for being patient and understanding, thank you for your so touching gesture.
Brahim: Huh please my friend! Don’t exaggerate!!! I wish I were such as what you’ve said !!! But I think it’s a compliment…
Imad: No, you’re a good person. And you are a highly intelligent being with a purpose. I wish there were more people in the world like you.
Brahim: Thank you!!! Remember “The beauty is in the eye of the beholder” you noticed positive things instead of negative ones… thank you…you’ve raised my spirit.
Emma: Thank you so much! I’m speechless.
Imad: Thank you for listening to me, and respecting me, and for opening up to me in ways I truly could have never imagined. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration and thank you so much for just being the beautiful girl that you are.
Emma: I’m really surprised! I don’t even know the real reason behind those wonderful words! I’m so thankful to you and your encouraging expressions.
Zaid: Let me guess! What is wrong with this two sentences, I have no clue! 😄
Imad: Thank you for challenging me and for pushing me to do better; I appreciate your encouragement and your kind words.
Zaid: It’s my pleasure Imad… As I said before, I always learn new things from your posts. Very beneficial. Just keep what u do. Very nice idea! The words have power “Mon Ami.” 🐸
Fayza: Well thanks, you surprised me indeed. Hope I am the person you are talking about, and I hope we’ll make a good set of people that will achieve something useful for this society, in spite of the disappointing atmosphere.
Imad: I just wanted to let you know that you’re awesome! When your statuses come up in my news feed they definitely put a smile on my face! Thanks for doing what you do! Thank you for being someone who everyone feels comfortable around and for being someone who reminds me of courage and respect. Thank you so much for being someone I know that I can count on, and thank you so much for just being in my life. Thank you so much for being you.
Fayza: Knowing that your a well-cultured person, having a high standard to like or dislike something; made me both overwhelmed and delighted to be able to put a smile on your face. Concerning FACEBOOK, nowadays it’s becoming more and more trivial way of bragging or showing off. Fortunately, there are still some people that consider it as a crucial tool to express their ideas. Personally, Facebook is a kind of resort through which I share my interests and hobbies either poems, literature, or any kind of arts. Briefly it provided me with a chance to say what I wouldn’t be able to utter in real social circumstances.
Imad: That’s exactly why the world needs more people like you, you motivate, inspire, draw a smile in people’s face, and above all you’re a special person with a kindhearted character. I admire what you do and the message you live and try to deliver to others, thank you for being you.
Hadjer: OMG! Is that for me? OMG! *teary eyes* thank you so much. 😢
Imad: Thank you for always having something meaningful to say and for truly being such a down to earth and special person. Anyone who knows you understands how lucky they are to have you in their life. Hadjer, thank you so much for all that you do, for keeping your head up high, and for influencing those around you to strive to be better and more compassionate people. You’re awesome.
Hadjer: I swear u too, you’re such a wonderful sweet friend,I’ve never had, thank you for being in ma life. 🙂
Fatima: Thanks for your kind words 😊 such an inspiration you are.
Imad: Thank you so much for always being so compassionate and comforting and thank you for always pushing through things logically and confidently. Thank you for being such a strong individual and for following your dreams. Thank you for always always always making me smile when I see your posts and thank you for being the absolutely gorgeous person that you are. Thank you for being you.
Melissa: Yes you are,and we do need more people like you in this world!
Alsabbagh: Yes , that’s me..I know.. lol
Imad: Thank you for being such a fun person to be around and for always looking at each day with opportunity and motivation. Thank you for how hilarious you are and your ridiculous comments, and thank you so much for just being in my life. You’ve made it better since you’re my friend on Facebook.
Alsabbagh: I do appreciate your kind words and I am thankful for your help. I am so lucky that you are in my friends’ list. Even though sometimes you’re harsh in your comments and discussions, but it pushes me to know more and learn new things from you. You’re my best friend on Facebook.
Imad: Sorry if I am too frank, you may think that I am rude or harsh, but I swear I am not! I just tell what I think frankly without the intention to be rude or to upset you. I appreciate your friendship and your personality, so just continue to be you and cheers!
Imad: I just wanted to let you know that you’re awesome! When your statuses come up in my news feed they definitely put a smile on my face! Thanks for doing what you do! You truly make me smile and lol! At least once a day! And guess what? Whenever you post something I get informed by a message on my phone, so I don’t miss any post and you are the only person that Facebook decided to keep me in touch with, and that’s for a reason for sure! Thank you for making my day a million times over.
Melissa: Imad, I am blown away by what you wrote, and am at a loss for words. I’m happy I can make you smile everyday, because that adds another sense of purpose to my life. Thank you for being a wonderful friend, person and an inspiration to me. This world would be a much better place, if there were more people like you in it. xoxo!!!
Imad: I have been enjoying your posts. We need more positive thoughts and laughter in our lives. Keep the positive vibe going! Have a lovely afternoon dear friend.
Souhaïla: Aha! Actually we need these words of encouragement ! Thank you… Happy to see that there is someone who cares about raising people’s morals. 👆
Imad: You are awesome and I am grateful to have you on my Facebook friends list. You help add sunshine to my life. I like your positive reinforcement with my coffee in the evening! Thanks for being such an inspiration!
Thank you for making me part of such a magnificent experience and thank you for just being a spectacular human being! Thank you for being such a great friend and mentor and thank you for being a genuine and kindhearted girl. Oh one more thing: #PowerOfWords #Challenge
Souhaïla: hhhhhhhhh Okay; thank you for your #PowerOfWords #Challenge you won this challenge, thank you for being such a creative person here on Facebook. 👆
Meed: I really appreciate what you wrote, and I can say the same thing about you bro. ❤
Imad: Thank you so much for being so down to earth and for being a role model to so many people, including myself. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration and thank you so much for just being the open heart that you are, and bear all my ridiculous comments I make from time to time in your posts.
Wafaa: That’s really sweet of you ❤ I really appreciate that u wrote it here. I can say the same about u Imad. You have the power of positivity!
Imad: Thank you for your superb sense of humor and for never taking things too seriously. You’re a spectacular and special person Wafaa, and I cannot wait to see how you continue to rock the world. Seriously. Thank you so much for being the beautiful girl that you are.

⭕ Of course this could go on and on. Just in case you’re wondering now what’s this social experiment got to do with learning English! Guess what! The easiest way to learn English is through chatting with native speakers or making friends with people who speak English fluently. Yes, you can improve your communication skill through chatting on Facebook and at the same time value and reinforce your relationship with others. Comment, read, share your views, chat, learn, elevate your mind and your soul.

⭕ Now you know why I took the challenge. It was really fruitful, emotional, and very delightful. Yesterday I learned many things. I learned how words can leave a positive impact on people. You can learn to inspire everyone around you through words as well as actions, by just writing this phrase on your friends wall: “You are a highly intelligent being with a purpose. I wish there were more people in the world like you.” ‪#‎PowerOfWords‬ ‪#‎Challenge‬

Thank you for being someone I look up to and admire. Thank you for your beautiful smile and wonderful personality. Thank you so much for your devotion to such great ideas. You’re christian, I am a Muslim and there are tenets of the faiths that are very, very different, but still we share much common ground… I love your blog and the being you are… 🙂
